Killington Insider
June 18, 2009
Just about a week until we kick off the summer season here at Killington and Pico Mountain and the finishing touching are being applied to all our attractions.
Over at Pico, the Snack Shack has been moved to a new location to better serve our guests, and speaking of serving, we’ll be offering beer and wine from the Snack Shack this summer.
The Alpine Slide is almost ready to ride. Crews are replacing some track sections that didn’t make it through the winter season and aligning the track for a smooth ride. The horses have arrived at the Pico Mountain Stables and we’ll be offering Lunch Rides this season and value opportunities for those who purchase summer season passes.
Don’t forget United Way Day on Friday, June 26th from noon to 4 p.m. Most activities, including the Alpine Slide, Mini Golf, Pico Power Jump, Climbing Walls and Gondola Rides, are free with a $10 donation to the United Way of Rutland County. Guided Horseback Trail Rides and Mountain Bike lift access is an additional $10 donation.
The Killington Golf Course will offer $35 Twilight greens fees (after 3 p.m., including cart) on Friday, June 26th for United Way Day at Killington and Pico Mountain. Plus, $10 will also be donated to the United Way of Rutland County.
