Work continues across the mountain today as we prepare for the coming ski season - just about 60 days until we start making snow!
Currently we're in the process of mowing hundreds of acres of ski trails. The upper reaches of Killington Peak have been mowed and now we're working the lower slopes. Today, we were tackling Lower Superstar (see photos).
We've been talking all summer about our new lift going in, and well, we actually have a nother new lift that will be installed next month - a new Magic Carpet at Snowshed that will replace the Poma use for our Ski and Snowboard School Programs.
In addition, the excavator is working on upper Bittersweet replacing some snowmaking pipe as we prepare to add a new section off that trail as well.
